What our customers say
I bought one of Marycke and Stephan’s beautiful shamanic drums a few months ago when I was in Berlin. The craftsmanship is exquisite, the care and attention to detail. So obviously made with love as well as skill. I now use it often in journeys and ceremony and learn from it every time I play it. It’s made with a double layer of goatskin and the range of tone is truly remarkable.
Hi Stephan and Marycke. I just wanted to let you know that this weekend I finally got to play my drum—it’s so beautiful and has an amazing sound… you can tell it was made with a lot of dedication, skill, and love…. Thank you, thank you! Now I’m learning to listen to it and letting its sound guide me… Hugs, and see you soon.
I chose my first drum two years ago . I once heard her sound and she stayed with me. Her frame is made in one piece of a sweet chesnut tree, her skin is from a horse. The sound of the drum resonates, it’s so rich and grounding. And at the same time her different shades of tones carry’s me like water. She is always ready to play. What a phenomenal instrument Stephan and Marycke made. That is true craftsmanship,. Thank you both and please continue making these beautiful drums!

The drums you made and which found a home with me continue to be a huge blessing and a source of inspiration. I was in the southern highlands of Scotland a few weeks back and took them both to an amazing c.5000 year old stone circle at Croft Moraig. It’s a powerful place and it was wonderful to drum round and in the midst of the stones.
